Do I need to purchase an FLV Player?

If you want to play back your recordings, you will need an FLV Player.

What are the server requirements for this software?

QuickCam Pro requires any server that has Red5, Wowza or FMS installed. Most hosts do not have this installed by default, so please check with them before you go ahead and try to install QCP.

Do I need to install any software on my computer?

You need Flash Player 8 (or later!) installed on your computer. This is free software available from Adobe (like their Acrobat reader). Click here to download the latest Flash Player.

Can I use this application on my Apple Mac?

Yes, the software is 100% compatible with Apple Mac’s because there is no software to install, QCP runs in your browser window.

What are the uses for QuickCam Pro?

Can I use QuickCam Pro in my other Agriya products?

Is it Possible to play the video in a mediaplayer or any third party video player?

The recorded video will play only on FLV players (Standalone or online) available in the market. You should convert the video to play in appropriate mediaplayers.

Can I record the audio alone?

Can I upload this video to YOUTUBE?

Yes of course, you can use it in any social networking / video sharing pages which supports the FLV format videos.
