	Social Networking The whole idea behind Orbit is to make it as easy as possible for your users to connect and interact with one another. We studied the features of all the largest social network sites and took the best from each of them to create (in our humble opinion of course!) the best way to manage, add and view friends.
	Social Groups Integral to the success of any social network is the ability to allow users to meet new friends, interact and discuss things they are interested in. Orbit provides this by Groups which lets users join different groups on subjects they are interested in.
	Online Video Who needs YouTube when your users can upload, watch, comment, rate and share videos right from your own site? Video is the media of the internet now, and if your social network doesn’t support it, it will get left behind. Oh, and did we mention that the Video feature comes as part of the standard package!
	Online Audio Why be limited to just video? What about music, speech and instrumental stuff? We have coded a feature especially to allow people to upload audio files to share with other users of your social network.
	Photo & Picture Sharing Let your users upload funny pictures, photos of celebrities and other types of pictures. The photos can be shared, viewed, rated and commented upon. Photo sharing is great for building your community, adding fresh new content each day which is sure to keep your members coming back for more.
	Bulletins Let your users post bulletins to all members. Bulletins are like short messages, that can be anything from classified ads to jokes. Users can view the bulletins they have added, view other people’s bulletins and add new bulletins.
	Events Now your users can announce events and parties right on your site. Every user can add new events and view upcoming events. It’s a great way for your users to put the word out about an up coming gig!
	Private Messaging / Internal Mail Let your users keep in touch with one another directly on your site! Who needs email? The internal messaging feature works just like a regular email program, except it’s all done from your site!
	Simple Admin Area The usability and intuitiveness (things are where you expect them to be) of an admin area is critical to any software and should be a big consideration. The admin area is where you or your staff will spend most of your time, so it has to be real easy to use and navigate. We have spent a lot of time fine tuning our admin area to be as usable as possible.

Multi-language support

The most exciting new feature of Orbit is the introduction of multi-language support. If you’ve always wanted to create a social networking site for people who would rather not communicate in English, this is what you’ve been waiting for.

Banner Management

Orbit now gives you the option to manage the way advertising banners look on your website -  control the banner’s size, speed and appearance so that it is viewed exactly the way you want it to be.

Group Navigation

Orbit has been updated to allow the creation of groups, now distinct from communities. You can also navigate between all the groups you either own, control or are a part of using just one menu bar with different tabs. This feature makes management of and participation in groups a lot easier than before!

Flash Uploader

With the new flash uploader, you can now view the progress of your video/audio file as it is uploaded onto the site, so you’ll know exactly how long you’ll have to wait till you can share it!
